The Ancestral Guardian: Hand-Carved Bone Hei Tiki

Regular price $58.00 USD

The Ancestral Guardian is a 100mm Hei Tiki hand-carved from ethically sourced cow bone, serving as a physical link to Maori "tupuna" (ancestors). This protective charm features the traditional "hands-on-hips" pose, which is an important symbol of fertility and ancestral pride.

Carved with great detail, this Hei Tiki is a vessel for "mana" (spiritual power). In Maori tradition, the Tiki is often linked to the first man or the goddess of protection, Hine-te-iwaiwa. This piece has been cleaned and sun-bleached to a smooth, ivory-like finish to honor the tradition of precious family heirlooms passed down through generations.
