The artifact is hand-sculpted from sustainable, cattle bone. It is defined by a heavy, masculine cross-section and a prominent, aggressively pointed dual-stepped barb. The outer dynamic spine is incised with traditional linear Hawaiian motifs, emphasizing clean geometric geometry.
As a porous organic medium, the polished bone surface will naturally absorb the skin oils of the wearer over time, gradually developing a rich, characteristic honey-gold patina. The pendant is mounted to a heavy, black cord fitted with adjustable slip knots for custom display lengths.
