Introducing the Frigate Bird Pendant, a beautifully crafted piece inspired by the Melanesian bird-man amulets. This pendant is hand carved and measures 40mm in width and 50mm in height. It is based on the Frigate bird, a majestic and powerful bird that was often used in Melanesian mythology. In the past, these pendants were worn around a man's neck to keep him safe in danger and to improve his aim and strength. They were also worn by women in the hope of having more children. Wear this pendant to celebrate the rich culture and mythology of Melanesia.
